HEA LZ Profile - Cassava and Charcoal Livelihood Zone, Bomi County, Liberia 2007

The Cassava and Charcoal Livelihood Zone in Bomi County falls in the Coastal Plains Agroecological Zone of Liberia and includes large parts of Dowein, Klay, and Senjeh Districts. It was a major cassava producing area before the war, but charcoal production is now at least as important a contributor to livelihoods as cassava production.
