The Humera Sesame and Sorghum livelihood zone is spread across Kafta Humera, Tsegedie, and Welkait woredas in Western Tigray. The zone borders Eritrea to the north, Sudan to the west, Amhara region to the south, and Tselemti, Asegede Tsimbla and Tahtay Adiabo woredas in the east.
