The South Wollo and Oromia Eastern Lowland Sorghum and Cattle livelihood zone is situated in the extreme eastern lowland part of Amhara region adjacent to the south western part of Afar Region. The woredas fully or partially covered by the zone are Artuma Fursi, Dewa Chefa, Jille Timuga, Bati and Dewa Harewa woredas in Oromia zone and Argoba, Kalu and Werebabu.
