HEA LZ Profile - Lower Limpopo Livelihood Zone, Mozambique 2001

The Lower Limpopo livelihood zone (LZ) is located in Gaza Province in the southern half of Mozambique.

The purpose of the study was to investigate how people in this flood-prone area normally live (how they obtain access to food and cash income, and how they spend their money). The baseline was also conducted to provide understanding of the impacts of potential 'shocks' including renewed flooding.
